Facebook user Ron Navarro is one of those people who is admitting that he is struggling to keep up his lifestyle with a P500 budget.
However, it all changes when he overheard a man calling his wife on the phone while they are on the bus.
In his viral Facebook post, Ron narrated that the guy only earned P300 a day but instead of being grumpy. he is even excited to go home to his family and bring a gift.
He heard that the man bought P200 jogging pants and bargained for it to make it P160.
The man asked his wife to wait for him for dinner and buy ice for their water then. He then said “I love you” to his wife before putting down the phone.
After hearing the conversation, Ron said that he felt the reality slapped him and it made him appreciate more of what he has.
It is envy-worthy that a man with P300 is happier than another man earning P500 but still feel that he cannot survive a day.
The Facebook post went viral as it got 431,000 reactions and 18,000 comments on Facebook. People are commenting that the conversation made them appreciate the sacrifices done by their loved ones even if it means that they are going to lose financially.
