Willie Revillame is known to be one of the most successful and generous celebrities on Filipino TV after building his own brand and investing in different fields, all while entertaining the Filipino people in his show Wowowin.
But even if it seems like he is thriving in almost all aspects of his life, Revillame is also known to have had a lot of ups and downs when it comes to his love life.
Revillame would usually joke around with his audience members and contestants and sometimes even flirt with some of them, but in a recent episode of Wowowin, it seems like an audience member did not only catch Revillame’s attention, but also his heart.
After seeing the lady sitting near the front of the studio, he did not hesitate to strike up a conversation with her in the middle of his program, even asking if she is actively looking for a boyfriend.
The Japanese audience member shyly confirmed that she is indeed looking for a boyfriend and Revillame eagerly volunteered himself for the position.
Revillame did not hesitate and immediately asked the audience member out on a date.
Before she coult give her answer, Revillame brought out “Wil’s Playlist” and asked her what song she prefers, a song that he will sing for her. “Yun Ka” was her song of choice.
After serenading her with “Yun Ka,” Revillame proceeded to sing a part of his hit song “I Love You” and then ended his grand serenade with his award – winning song, “Ikaw na Nga.”
Towards the end of his grand serenade, Revillame asked the lady to come down on stage; and right before singing the very last line of his song, he asked her to marry him.
Everyone in the audience screamed and whistled their support to Kuya Wil’s antics while the Japanese audience member was rendered speechless and just smiled her way through the rest of the song, holding hands with Revillame.
Is this the start of a new chapter in Revillame’s life, possibly as a taken man?
